About this Course
Anyone who works in a building that was built before 2000 has a high risk of being exposed to asbestos, which causes approximately 5000 deaths per year in the UK.
This course is aimed at employers and employees who need to learn about what asbestos is and what the dangers associated with it are. It will also cover the legislative requirements regarding asbestos awareness so that workplace health and safety standards can be met.
Did you know: It may take decades, often between 20 and 50 years, for symptoms of asbestos-related health problems to appear. By this point, the person may have sustained a lot of internal damage.
